Hokitika is a well known coastal town towards the southern end of the South Islands West Coast region. It hosts a very popular annual Wild Foods Festival each March and has a reputation as a vibrant Artisan community due to the wide range of creative Arts found including jade, gold, sculptors, jewellers and glass blowers.
